|
| A |

|
Q |
What is the
difference between a deposit and total down
payment?
|
| A |
A 10% initial deposit is required to reserve a parcel. This 10% initial deposit is then applied towards your total down payment should you wish to finance your purchase. The total down payment includes the 10% initial deposit plus an additional 10% of the purchase price, which is due at closing.
Should you wish to proceed, you first send a
10% deposit and then at closing you will be
instructed to send the remaining 10%,
if you choose to finance your purchase. If
you do not choose to finance, you would
first send a 10% deposit and then at
closing, you would send the balance of the
purchase price, equaling the remaining 90% of the purchase price.
